More red than gold, with black running through the seams where the strips meet. The boldest tie of the eight — it does not go unnoticed.

About Kente

The weave most people recognise. Kente is built from interlocking blocks of colour, and traditionally each colour carries meaning — gold for status and wealth, green for growth and harvest, black for maturity. It has been woven essentially the same way for three hundred years.
